Was just thinking, with Mr Wagner scripting most of the Dredd that turns up in tooth and the Meg, along with Strontium Dog and others, does he get the most published comic pages out in a year?

Is there anyone else who gets as many pages into the hands of readers as him, and I mean regularly, not having one really prolific year, then not much for the next three.

Am I wrong?

I imagine you'd have to go back to the early days to really match his output, when Pat Mills and Gerry Findley Day could have been contenders. Then there's Alan Grant of course. And in the 90's when John was writing for the Megazine or elsewhere there are probably years when Garth Ennis and other folk beat his output for the weekly.

I didn't mean just 2000ad and the meg, I meant comics in general.

Well if it's comics in general then John Wagner prolly pales into comparison with writers from yesterdays. Stan Lee, Joe Kubert, Otto Binder and Jack Kirby prolly outstripped him month in month out

What about Grant Morrison? How many pages a month does Seven Soldiers work out as?

Warren Ellis also seems to have quite a few irons in the fire at any given time.
