Who amoungst us has the right to proclaim themselves Ruler of the Geeks?

I'm fairly geeky, and can hold my own most of the time with other Geeks, but I'm mearly a shadow to some of you peeps, so who is the geekiest on the board?

pile night

This is a question that plagues us all.

Bico

I might be in the running here.  I read this week's prog and could identify which Star Trek episode the Synnamon story is ripped off of.
Worse, it's a Next Generation episode.

People like me should made to sign some sort of register so normal folks who like beating each other up over football results would always know if we were nearby, threatening to turn their kids to Sci-fi instead of soap operas.

I've worked in the IT industry as a tech guy from the age of 14 (and still do). I've drawn comics professionally for the past 6 years. I am the double-nerd threat.

I can claim nerdology due to at least some working knowledge of every subject ever, ever, ever, but in order to amass this broad spectrum I have had to forfeit uber-geekiness. For which I apologise.
Nobody warned me I would be so awesome.

Trout

I'm incredibly pedantic, but I suspect that's a symptom of being a sub-editor, not a geek.

But I'm also pretty geeky.

Coming soon: King Trout's Wall of Thrill. You'll love it!

Pete Wells

Bah... I read comics, collect comic artwork, go on Star Wars sites and love computers. I wanted to be King Geek SO much but unfortunately my complete lack of interest in Star Trek and Dr Who has scuppered it, grrr.

Pete.

After 7 years of web tinkering I only just discovered that the  switches on standards mode in IE6, but that if you put anything on the line before it, then it's back to quirks mode.

So, I can hardly call myself a geek.

I am currently on a scientific quest to find out why <body bgcolor="crap"> makes the screen go a sort of poo-colour, whereas using CSS to attempt the same thing has no effect.

I'm going to submit my findings to the Geek Council to see if I qualify, but only on a D20 roll of 12 or higher.

The missing word was , as in "the  switches".

Dammit - the Geek Council, in their castle atop an icelandic glacier (? The Onion) won't look favourably on this typographical error.

(First time I use the preview feature and it betrays me!  I go now to buy a pram and some toys so that I can throw them out of it.)

I'm so geeky, I carry my shopping home in a Tesco's Bag of Carrying +2...
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

House of Usher

I'm out of the running. It's nice to find myself in the company of blokes geekier than me.
STRIKE !!!
