You should give it a drop shadow and emboss it- just use the default settings ..et voila....

I think you should add a texture to it and make it look like it's a special picture on canvas, and then add a water color effect, some noise and finally a tadge of motion blur behind it to add the effect of er... motion?

This is vaguely akin to watching something foreign without turning on the subtitles.
I've only had photoshop for a year, and someone on this website had to explain to me how I could use the brushes - not the filters, the *brushes*. The most basic tool in the damn thing.
My brother in law also procured a 'photoshop for dummies' book for me, and it's thicker than the phone book.

So far to go...

I was going to put a bit of motion blur in, but I couldn't be bothered in the end.

Bear- stick with it. It's very rewarding in the long run.
