Just wondered when a reprint took precedence over where a story was originally published?

Doppelganger (Zarjaz 1 (vol. 2)) 6 pages - Read Online
Script: Ben Dickson, Artist: Boo Cook, Letters: Ben Dickson
Thrill Power: 8.33 (98 votes)
First published on The Class of '79 website.
View Shockwave version.

I'd imagine doing it the otherway around, in this instance, would require more programing, as, to the best of my knowledge, there isn't an "online" fanzines section, but there is one for Zarjaz (is there one for the two issues of Co79?). So, in this instance the story is listed as it appears in Zarjaz, and credited for its first appearance as it was not in an actual comic.
But I'm just guessing here.

It's not as if electronic publishing really counts, is it?

Well as it's been online for years, read by more people than will ever own a copy of Zarjaz 2.1 and helped launced the career of Boo I think it counts.

Noisybast

I think he was joking, Logan.

Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

I was just joking.  It's difficult to get across in type.  That, and jokes are supposed to be funny.

Anyway - I think ukdane is on the money - it'll be to do with how the data is splurged, rather than any deliberate mischief.

Of course, small press in general is just boring and crap...

The fanzine page doesn't currently check the reprint table, so in order to avoid recoding it and slowing all the fanzine profile pages down I decided to put the listing that way.

Scarlet Traces is listed in a similar way though, as seeing print in the Megazine rather than being a reprint from a website (though I know only the first few pages were ever published online).
