As featured in the meg a few months ago, FutureQuake 06 is about to be unleashed at the Bristol comic expo over the 13-14 May weekend.

The cover is by Stewart McKenny, who is now getting paid to draw Star wars comics!

This issue also features the text story that won the opportunity to have the ever-so-talented Steve Roberts on art duties.

WoD

And I am so gutted and jealous that people will be seeing the finished article at Bristol before I get to see it...lucky people!

Which must be astonishingly good...

It's good enough that this is all I can show of the two stunning images that accompany it...

The Enigmatic Dr X

It is astonishingly good. One reviewer described it as the best thing she'd ever read (*).

Oh, you were talking about the art.

Ah the sun is out, the birds are squawking, it's plugging season, and I've just plugged Omnivistascope 2 on the OVS letter thread (and I suppose here, sorry, go and plug on my thread if you want).

That is a very nice cover, and it's not suprising that he's got top notch pro work.  Lovely.

I think I have something in it, but I'm sure the rest of it is fine.

Very nice use of the SFX logo.  Am I right in thinking they don't spell it SEX, anymore?  Anyway, well deserved.

And well done to Art for starting it in the first place.

And trees, without whom it wouldn't be possible.

Woo hoo!

3 more comics to read, I'm doing my happy dance!

But seriously, thank you. :))

Shouldn't you be pimping the Annual Horror Special-Something Wicked I think it's called?

I do believe there are some cracking strips in there.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v99/jameskircough/Hmmm.jpg">
