Which is better?

Was thinking idly today.
Would the Aerosmith song "Love in an Elevator" be cooler if it was "On an Escalator" instead?

Opinions?  Other songs that could be improved by a change of lyrics?

I don't think changing 'elevator' to 'escalator' would be an improvement.
 However there are a lot of songs which could do with a change of lyrics

I don't like the idea of having to jump off the escalator when it gets to the end. Maybe elevator is better after all.

well elevators tend to have video cameras these days, so you could ask the security guys if you could have a copy for your collection. which is always good to have.

though the escolator is a shorter trip normally, and you could use that excuse if you tend to be one of those VERY QUICK types, without the need to apologize.

though this is an important question,i am sure the board will be able to give a decent answer and likely  ennis will make a dredd script out it.

Love on an escalator would be quite short, unless you're at the airport - or you could do it on one of those moving walkways?

I spent about two hours doing that once at Manchester Picadilly :)

(The gig I'd been to finished at one, and the train home wasn't till about half three.)

I got some pretty strange looks from the cleaners, but it kept me awake...

Good question, Max. I'd be inclined to say "this" is better, however desirable "that" appears. "This" is a bird in the hand; which is worth two in the bush, so "this" is about twice as good as "that". Although "this" is the devil you know, the main appeal of "that" is that the grass always looks greener on the other side; however, once you get there you may find that it isn't really.
