I usually wear jockey shorts. Definitely more comfortable than boxer shorts or y-fronts.

Hold on a second! Jockey shorts, boxer shorts... Does that mean that we should be able to get undies for other types of sporting events? Rugby shorts to match one's Rugby shirts. Bungee-jumper's shorts (very stretchy elastic). Snooker-player's shorts (six pockets, can hold up to 21 balls, only available in green felt). Pole-vaulter's shorts (handy when you need to charge at a very small opening with a very long pole).

Theres something about tighter underwear that i prefer to the baggier boxer-short.
