...what the heck was Treborland?  They advertised in several IPC titles in the late 1970s.

No, I've got it now.  Apparently it was a candy company who did lots of licensed character-tie-ins with Corgi.  Weird ads.  There's one on the back of prog 63 which encouraged you to send in twenty candy wrappers and 10p for a Batcopter, Batboat or Batmobile.

And I did!  Never got the batcopter, the bat boat was boring, but the batmobile was fandabiduzzi.

Was that the one with the little blade in the front, a pair of tiny Batman and Robin figures and a working mortar thingie (For which you lost all the ammo within about half an hour of opening the packet.)?

 I've still got mine, it's pretty beat up and thus worth pish all on the collectors market, but it's got pride of place on the shelf in my back room, next to my original R2-D2 figure.
