I voted for Denmark. Again. They didn't win. Again.

House of Usher

I managed to predict the top ten on the scoreboard with 70% accuracy. Not bad. Not difficult, either!

;)
STRIKE !!!

So is it going to be hosted in Mordor next year, then?
Nobody warned me I would be so awesome.

Art

Hurrah! That's brilliant news. I bet that's really pissed somepeople off.

Richmond Clements

That could just be the greatest television I have even seen.

Artificial Idiot

Never watched Eurovision before, but I'm *so* glad I watched this one!

Top marks for Lithuania and Finland, glad one of them won!

IndigoPrime

:: Iceland's entry is sung by a fictional character from a
:: satirical series spoofing reality tv.

Unfortunately, none of the humourless bastards got the joke and sent her packing. Still, at least the Finns won.

Max Kon

i'm actually very happy that the UK lost so badly. YAY!

the3rdman

eurovision?
is that even a real word?

DavidXBrunt

Well as it's been in usage for a half a century I'd say it is now even if they made it up way back when.

Highlights of the night included -
Terry getting annoyed by the Dutch announcer,
The Croation Automaton,
Swedens decision to enter the runner up in the Kate O'Mara lookalike contest again,
Denmark once again fielding a great song,
Malta doing really badly again despite being such a strong entry.

Wils

I'm surprised that more messageboarders didn't vote for Latvia, considering that Ben was singing for them. ;)

Yaay! Wish I'd had a bet on now.
Seriously, how good were Lithuania?! I ended up voting for them as well. I want to hire that Harry Hill guy next time I need dancers!

Dudley

Our party placed 3 votes for Finland, 2 for Russia, and one for Bosnia-Herzegovina.  So we got the top 3 right, in order.

And I made some money on this bet.  So yay!

Although there were many fine musical tragedies to enjoy, my top moment from this year was the look on Stakis' face when he realised that he really should have learnt some French before hosting a bilingual contest.

Keef Monkey

Wogan was on top form. "And now here's Croatia with a song that's obviously a lot more fun to sing than it is to listen to". Classic.

Radbacker

my god, i accidently caught this on SBS last night and what an absolute ripper of a nights entertainment, who thought such a train wreck could be so entertaining if I had of known how much fun it was me and my mates would've made a pissie night of it, as it was still rolled around laughing.
Like the fact the winner wasn't exactly pop, the dude from Malta(I think) has better eyebrows than our primeminister!
And the best thing was the commentry....Just Amazing ;)
like the fact he commentatted on the bits in between the acts, pure gold.
