Hope this wasn't already posted, but this new Black Flame collection turned up on my Amazon searches recently:

Apparently collects Dredd Vs Death, Black Atlantic and Bad Moon Rising in one volume. At the listed price, I might be tempted - what's the general consensus on these novels? And will Black Flame try releasing similar omnibus volumes for other 2K characters?

Having just checked what I thought of them on the online reviews on 2000adreview, I seemed to have liked them all.
The Bishop one is the best, Black Atlantic would be in second place with DvsD in third.

They can't proof read worth shit though, if the first fiends book is anything to go by...

They cannot, which is something I have pointed out on more than one ocassion.

I enjoyed them all, although Black Atlantic was a bit slow. Have to agree Bad Moon Rising is the best of the three. I'm working my way through the black flame books and really enjoying them.

Dredd vs Death is good fun. Black Atlantic is quite 'ordinary'. Bad Moon Rising has very good characters and a cracking plot but is fatally marred by poor proof reading (or possibly by the complete absence of proof reading). Tautologisms and redundancies abound, as does some pretty wooden dialogue on the part of the Judges.

Yeah, general agreement that they're okay stuff really. Black Atlantic has some nice 'confined space/monster loose' moments along the way, D.V.D.is about as good as a game tie in novel can be, the original additions being far and away the highlights, and Moon is the best of the bunch with appreciated ambivalence to the characters and motives. At that price it's more than worth your purchase.

I'm available to do some freelance proofreading :)
I'm a professional editor and everything.

I'm enjoying Rogue Trooper: Crucible at the moment, and I don't really mind the occasional typo or more commonly clumsily phrased sentence.
