Way too much to give you the breakdown for #2, and I guess that 3 is the same.  Expect great articles, both serious and funny, various features (Nuclear Risk, Personality Quiz, etc.), comic strips, interviews (Alan Moore in #2 - and it's a goody) and sooo much more.

It is also a VERY BIG read, prefect for leaving in the loo.

NEXT to the loo, NEXT!!

Issue two of The End is Nigh is 100 pages, including a fantastic full-colour cover by 2000AD favourite BOO COOK and artwork by 2000AD legend FRAZER IRVING. And there's also an interview with JOHN WAGNER and ALAN GRANT about The Last American, and artist MELANIE GEBBIE talks about her work on the film of When the Wind Blows. Plus there are the usual comic strips, news articles, in-depth features and funnies.

Issue three looks skyward in our examination of how humanity could swiftly meet its maker! Asteroid impacts! Alien invasions! Black holes! Bugs from space!!!! Also, your usual mix of news, features, comic strips, funnies and something special to keep the sky from falling on your head! Featuring the genius-level excellence of Boo Cook! Al Ewing! John Reppion! Leah Moore! PJ Holden! SMS! Bryan Coyle! Oliver Redding! Matt Timson! Kev Crossley! And many more!

I only got my post last night and I was in work at 7:45am today, so I'd have a hard time cashing the damn thing!

Having suffered the WoD order process, several frantic e-mails beforehand, some going back months, a lack of addresses given, orders by text message, cheques sent later by post which also asking for other comics posted as well as the ones you actually sent, I can only sympathise Mike...

:p

p.s. please send me your address for the Solar Wind photostrip issue WoD.  I don't keep people's addresses, I just pass them on to serial killers, murderers and the like in return for pies.

The WOD ordering process was due to a last minute non-wod-availability at Bristol...

wod walks away mumbling something about 'last time I got books signed for PVS by one of his heros....and my addy was on the note that arrived with the cheque...

Then obviously I am humbled into an apology.

Apologies, WoD.

I got my (excellent, by the way) comics from Cosmic Ray within a few days of ordering them. I'm sure EIN#3 is great, but (in the time-honoured tradition)...

where's my comic, Molcher?

Just to let everyone know that EiN3 is now available overseas via Paypal. I only have four copies of issue two left as well.

Oh, and after a pretty generous offer from Travelling Man, EiN3 will now be available in their stores nationwide (I just have to lug the damn things to their Leeds store first)

Just so you know, the official blog of THE END IS NIGH! has surfaced again after a hiatus of about a year.

As well as updates about the magazine, it will also feature all the latest apocalyptic news* and views from around the globe, plus fun bits and bobs.

* invaluable research material if you're thinking of submitting anything to issue four!

Emperor

And you can also find us at MySpace - as things heat up for issue #4 I'm sure we'll fire off a few bulletins there for folks not on the mailing list.

if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Further to the above, I can confirm that 60 copies of issue three were dropped off at Travelling Man - should be in their stores nationwide within a week.

Please do encourage friends/relatives/strangers in the street to go buy a copy!
