There's enough McNulty material for a decent first volume with everything up to Killudon. Thats's three three parters and a six parter in blakc and white and the option for two colour episodes as well. For Me Killudon seemed to wrap up the first arc of the story and makes sense for a finale for volume 1.

:: I assume I'm the only person interested ?n seeing
:: Harmony collected (as an EE).

Not really?I stated earlier that "Likewise, I was always rather fond of the Harmony series, but that, too, is better EE fodder".

Good point about the extras: if page count allows, some covers are always a nice addition. And if there's time, the odd sketch book/interview/overview from the creators is a great thing to have (think of the Hellboy books and how well this works).

As for David's McNulty idea, I'm hardly a big fan of that character, but wouldn't mind seeing such a collection. However, I'd definitely prefer to see Strontium Dog collected up until The Final Solution first.

Hmmm... the more I think about it, the more THE MEG FILES idea appeals to me as a megazine colour companion to the case files.  I'd rather buy them than hunt down loads of megazines in which the Wagner Dredd story is the only thing I can be bothered to read (based on other people's tetimonies of what it used to be like while I was away).  Pure unrefined Dredd which a limited number of people have seen...

Also, I'd like to echo other comments I've heard that it's very hard to knock the current rather astounding GN run from Rebellion.  It's amazing stuff.

Art

we like "DVD-extra's"

I don't, I think they're a waste of pages and should be used only as filler where extra pages are required for technical reasons.

ukdane

tsk, ok
... we prefer things to be cheaper
but you get bonus marks for including "free" extras.

(Art, if you had the choice of buying your favourite DVD, where one had extras, and the other didn't but they cost the same, which would you go for? Anyway, aren't you more droid than fan now? ;-) )
Cheers

Carlsborg Expert

I'd like to see Bato Loco(?)

He looks quite odd tpb and I don't know if there  are enough stories to fill.

But he looks fun and probably make a neat little trade.

The Adventurer

Since we're talking what kind of extras we'd like in Rebellion TP. I'd like to see Forwords and Afterwords in my TPs. I'd really like to see the thoughts of guys like John Wagner on the particular collection being reprinted.

A "Commentary" track if you will.

Covers and stuff are nice too, but I can live without them. I really just like to see "technical" behind the scenes stuff as extras myself.

Pete Wells

Hmmm, I really like a Case Files approach to collecting the Dredd stories within the Meg. If not, then definately pick the cream of Wagner's Megazine Dredd tales into one or more big fat books.

Pete.

That's all I can come up with at the moment, but there's still some material worth collecting from the Meg that I haven't listed here (Missionary Man in particular)

Dark Jimbo

Cor - there haven't really been many particularly classic series in fifteen years, have there? What the hell was it printing on its pages all those years?
@jamesfeistdraws

The Amstor Computer

What was it printing? A lot of rubbish, some real gems (a few of which have already been reprinted) and a lot of decent, but not collection-friendly material.

paulvonscott

Any prospective Meg Files could kick off with the classic colour annual and special strips, or use them as extras.

Bico

I'd like to see a complete Doomsday reprint, as I haven't read the Megazine portion of the story.
For purely financial reasons, a reprint of Sleeze 'n' Ryder would be a good idea

/puts on riot gear

because then you could sell it off the back of Garth Ennis' current fame.  Or blackmail him into writing something else in exchange for SNR never, ever being reprinted again - though he might very well see this as the bluff it is, considering the low quality of the strip (and he should know).

IndigoPrime

:: as I haven't read the Megazine portion of the story

FWIW, Doomsday for Mega-City 1's still in-print -- you can get it from Amazon for under nine quid.
