I have just seen a real lifehangman's gallows left as a reminder of times gone by I would presume  on This Morning.

Are there any other artifact of similar semblence dotted around England?

This one on the telly was as tall as a tree. There are pubs and hotel referencing days of yore but I didn't actually think there were still operational punishment devices left for public appraisal.

Do any of the members of the board know of or have a construction of corperal punishment in their area of Britain specifically?

There's an operational guillotine in the french castle up the road.  They also claim to have a holy grail, but I'm not convinced about that.
