I want England to go as far as possible. I went shopping this afternoon and sailed around the store in record time. I've also discovered a local pub that has got a big sign up saying "No big screen TV, No SKY, No games live, No football. World Cup Free Zone!" Its great.
So come on England, now just to convince the BBc that I really couldnt give a shit about Rooney's foot or what sandwiches they ate on the plane.

England were mightily unimpressive yesterday, but they still got their three points and that's the first time they've actually won their opening match in a major tournament since 1982, apparently, starting flatly before picking up speed being a bit of an England World Cup speciality.

Trinidad & Tobago also did them a big favour holding Sweden to a draw.  The Swedes look like they might be in serious trouble here already.

Well it goes either way(f)Art. You can have a load of goals on your first match and then crap yourself because you feel you got a lucky punch in and  alll motivation drives drop.

Or, the other way round they can start humble and build up their score.
