A design classic that needs to return from publishing wilderness.

Always wondered if Aquatraz was designed with the 'J' of the logo in mind.

In fact, while we're about it, they should bring back THE original 2000AD logo full stop!
I've never, never, NEVER liked ANY of the replacements these past >muttermumble< years quite so much as that first one! Used to make my week, trundling down the road to the newsagents on the corner on a Saturday morning (despite the cover proclamation that it was In Orbit Every Monday), wondering what colour banner that week's new Prog would bring (yellow lettering with the red 3D effect was my fave; more striking on the shelf.) Even the pink ones used occasionaly on the Summer (soon to become Sci-Fi) Specials were strangely attractive!

Now THAT was The Shit!

Nah, the new logo is punchy, modern, can be branded, doesn't take up much of the cover, and doesn't look like an anachronism. I love the current logo so much I'm prepared to wear it on my fleece.

M.I.K.

The original Judge Dredd logo LOOKS like it's been designed. The others don't look like as much thought has gone into them. The chunkiness has always reminded me of Dredd's uniform, and that coupled with the badge and profile, makes it seem as if Dredd himself has been turned into a typeface.

In other words, bring it back!

I like the current 2000AD logo though.

Drokkin 'ell YES!

and can we get a t-shirt with it too, please?
:D

Yeah bring it back, and at the same time can we have some centre double page spreads from Dredd?

I'm kinda fed up that the Dredd story usually being the best in a prog is always at the front. Its all down hill from there.
Hmm, just pretend I wrote something witty eh?

"Its all down hill from there."

So true!  I often skip past Dredd to save it for last, but then run the risk of spoiling it through involuntary glances.

Old Dredd Logo:  Bring it back!
New 2000AD Logo:  Leave it be!
