Comics to go!

Hi

I have a huge collection of 2000ADs, Judge Dredd Megazines and various collected comics and reprints going back as far as issue 11 and right up to date. There is unfortunately a period around the 500-700s where issues are sporadic and many earlier issues are in very poor condition due to them not being as highly prized by my Brother as by me.

I am under orders that they need to be gotten rid of (boo!) and thought I'd offer them to fellow Squaxx before sacrificing them to the Bin Demon.

Price is negotiable and nominal, I'm more concerned with making sure they go to a good home.

I'll be checking replies every Mon, Wed and Fri as I'm a bit tecnophobic and don't know how to set up links or what I'm allowed to publish here (I'm new to this malarky)

I have a fair gap in my collection before 800 and would be interested, too.

I'm particularly keen to pick up around 40 progs in the 700s, a fair bundle in the 300s and anything early I can manage.
I also have a few annuals to find - the 1985 2000ad one and most of the earlier Dredd ones.

It all comes down to cost, I suppose, and whether you'd be willing (or can be arsed) to split stuff up.

I can pass on my wants list, or take a bundle, if you're willing.

In case distance is an issue, I'm in Derby and fairly flexible with regards to available times. For you guys with specific requests I'll try and hunt through and make sure of the prescence and condition of the progs in Question. They're in prog order already so it won't take long.
With regards to Megs, I should have the whole lot but I haven't really focused on their cataloguing as much. I'll sort that too.

If you have the Harlem Heros Progs back in the 20's i would bend down on one knee & pray to God you win the lottery!!!!

As a collecter since prog 1 i would also love to get my hands on the Harry Angel progs from around the 90's because believe it or not i actually gave them away!Doh!
I am looking to pass them all onto my 10yr old lad in the next year or two when he is old enough to appeciate them.(at the mo he is an avid Dr Who fan)

How's this for an idea? Those guys that can travel to Derby are welcome to pop over and have a root through what there is. As I mentioned at the beginning of the thread; quite a few of the earlier progs are in a poor state and there are gaps in the mid-hundreds but at least that way you can see or yourselves exactly what's there and what you would like.

Those that cannot make it over; let me know prog No.s if you know them and I'll pop them to one side and let you know what there is. If I can convince Orange that I have paid my bill I'll send you some pics by phone.
