A girly sized 9 for me- and that's only because of my mutant big toes, which are about eight inches* long, while the rest of my toes look like they belong to pygmies.

Half sizes? What? Not in most of the shoe shops I've ever bought my shoes/boots from. I guess their main use is in maximizing variation between large sizes.

Sorry I didn't create the poll to cover every possibility; I was just trying to find the board average, and I think the poll is adequate to the purpose. Mind you, now there's already one with bigger feet than size 13, I slightly regret not having added a few more intervals to the top of the scale just for the sake of making a more sensitive research instrument.

But as with any survey, how sensitive you need to make it depends on what you want to know in the first place.

It was once said that my toes were practically fingers, but they don't look anywhere near as disturbing as that image might suggest.  And I sadly don't have an opposable toe, that would be very useful.

I might up mine to 10, as I realised that by rounding down, it would result in a shoe that wouldn't fit :)
