10 for me but probably could squeeze into a smaller size if they where square due to having fat feet(?) so i'm with DXB on this one..

P.S. One of the guys I play football with is a size 17 and another a 14!!!!

I'm intrigued to know what happens if you try on a size 9, Judge Dreddd. Do you step out of them at the heel as you walk, or do your feet slip back and forth inside them? Either of those things might happen if I were to wear a size 10, but that's talking about a whole size too big, not a half size.
STRIKE !!!

House of usher...

I usually end up with the heel rubbing against the back of my foot, so have to cut the shoes (little v at the back ), though i also sometimes get that with 8 1/2 shoes too.

Never happens with hush puppies though.

Those heels, darn machine manufacture i reckon.

And to think that before today I'd never known the heady heights of a conversation about shoes. This must be the sort of euphoria that women expierience each and every day.

I, Cosh

In Nike cycling shoes I need a 44, as they are cut extremely narrow, but in Shimano a 43 is fine.

Talk English, boy!

We only do UK sizes on this board and we don't take kindly to foreign talk. So heed this warning or feel the wrath of my size 8s.

A 7?!?

Considering the other male members of my family wear 6s and are 5' 6" tops, I got off bloody lightly, I think.

And you have the *audacity* to call me 'bitch fingers', Wilson?!?

That reminds me; they're casting for a series of new Denim aftershave adverts. I reckon you'd be in with a chance there. ;)

Maybe you need a size 8 and a quarter?

11 and proud.

All the better for kicking your arse with. ;-)

The last three pairs of shoes (Camper etc.) I've bought were euro size 43.
Obviously you're not a golfer.

Emperor

I take a shoe size 11 because of the width of my feet but in length they're 10.

Ditto - my feet are wider than the G fitting (thanks to rarely wearing shoes as a child and by the time I was captured and forced into civilisation they'd set  in their odd flipper-like state. Shoe shop assisstants always used to complement me on the shape of my feet whenever I needed them measured). My feet are 10.5 (right) and 10 (the other one) and so I find 11 fits best.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Good point. I am ashamed of my Simpsons snafu.

And for the record, Mr 48, I have WIDE feet, not FAT feet. There is a crucial difference.

COMMANDO FORCES

How dare you we`ll have no mention of that Euro size crap on this thread. The bloody cheek of it. If we can`t have half sizes then the continental stuff is just not on and thats from Harry Kipling. Bally Ho old chap.

nick-is-at-home

one foots 8.5 another 9.5, no kiddin...

There seems to be an awful lot of MUTANTS on this thread.
