No, there's no link to JB's website. I haven't been there for ages.  However, I think there are some features there that this site could usefully copy

1/ Invisible spoilers
You can make your spoiler invisible, so that people have to highlight it to read it. This makes the chance of stumbling across a spoiler much lower and would make it easier for me to read Prog threads without spoiling plot twists

2/Calling Killfile 'ignore'
 not really important, but it sounds better. You're not killing people, just ignoring them

3/ A long list of ridiculous rules, frequently ignored by the person who wrote them

4/ Having the board run by an embittered narcissistic old hack

actually, we might not want to adopt all of these

The V has a pretty good set of "rules" (other than the obviously silly ones) and has the benefit of not being run by an insane old man.

You'll never believe this- but a whole bunch of posts that show the man up for the fool he is... just vanished!  No, really.  I was so surprised.

Even more surprising was how the lemmings ignored the fact and just carried on as before.  It's just not a normal place.

Of course Moore could do the same thing, but would do so by magic. Probably.
 I like the V rules, but Jean Reno is too French.
 Anyway, Wake, what about introducing the 'invisible writing' for spoilers. Do we have the technology?
