Simple solution: buy a PC (you'd be amazed how cheap they are) and download IE. ;-)

Oh don't start that "pc" losing argument.

Dog Deever

Nope, deffo doesn't work in Safari (in Safari the spoiler text is displayed in bold and underlined, so ironically, it's the first thing you end up reading...)

Me too. PC, Firefox.
Just a little rough and tumble, Judge man.

pauljholden

What, people actually use ie?

>What, people actually use ie?

Just in case the microsoft spies are watching.

I do'nt

W. R. Logan

thank god the spoiler hides my inept punctuation

Jim_Campbell

Doesn't work if you're running IE on a prehistoric (OS 9.1*) Mac, either, BTW.

Cheers!

Jim

* Fuck off with your 'Classic' malarkey. If you think I can afford to ditch a machine that in 90% of daily tasks works perfectly well, plus my scanner, printer and graphics tablet, and upgrade half-a-dozen pro-level graphics/DTP apps, then you're sadly mistaken!

Aha! But now I'm getting a grey block that does exactly what it says on the tin!

Does this work? Wake wears ladies' undies!

Cheers!

Doesn't work for me either in firefox on a pc (neither do the ones at Outpost Gallifrey).

Here they come out as bold links, e.g. in Logan's post only the "nt" are a link and link to

Is there some setting in Firefox that needs tweaked?

Dan Kelly

PJ which version of Firefox are you using?

It works fine on 2.0.4 on OSX 10.4.8.

Aaargh

Meant Safari.  Firefox don't work on the work PC...

pauljholden

My Safari is the same as yours (as is my OSX). How odd.

There's a suggestion that a ctrl-click on the reload button will reload the style sheet that Wake has updated

Ah, you know what... if it's a style sheet then it'll fix itself eventually - NTL have an irritating habit of severely caching style sheets and not refreshing them for hours (or days sometimes). (used to be very annoying when i was updating the look of my site until I stopped doing it online and just started altering the look offline)

I'll wait it out...

VisibleMan

ok, found the prob, I was using the Stylish extension and it works ok with that switched off.  Pity thogh as I kind of liked being able to read white on black (or whatever).  Is there some line of code I could use in Stylish to replicate the spoiler tags?

VisibleMan

problem solved by adding and tweaking code in the forum stylesheet, so, spoil away...

Oh yeah, and at the end of Origins,

everybody dies, but Dredd comes back as a ghost in zombie Anderson
