Emperor

remember when these were in the shops. I hate sugar puffs and Mrs Logan wasnt going to buy them and watch me throw the sugar puffs away so on one shoppingtrip I just opened up a few boxes til I had the set and put them in my pocket.

I feel so ashamed just thinking about it

As a Man of the Law I'm sure you felt the "no purchase required" line gave you a loophole you could work with. Within the letter of the law I suspect you would avoid further repercussions (especially as buying the Sugar Puffs would surely contravene the laws connected with the "white powder" - one wonders if Dredd's agent was on the ball that day!!) but just imagine the poor tot who got the boxes after you'd stripped them of their goodies.

His poor tear-streaked face as he opens the box to find no free gifts, his mother's stern telling off about how he has "to eat it now its been bought", him spending his pocket money on buying more to make up for the missing prizes, the stern headmaster throwing him out of school for sugar-induced ADHD, the pained look on the dentist's face as he pulls the rotten stumps of his teeth from his mouth, the downwards spiral of his life as he was prevented from getting his full dose of Thrillpower (aggravated by the fact that his spare pocketmoney went on sugary breakfast cereal instead of the Galaxy's Greatest Comic) and I bet you don't spare him a sideways look as you pass him begging on the street!! You are really missing a good gloating opportunity there - throw some sachets of sugar at him too.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Logan, It was probably the fact that you pulled up outside the shop in a tank that made them think twice about stopping you rifling the cereals ;p

£12.59 for two empty cereal boxes... I ready must get into selling on ebay!

No sale!

Logan's grand larceny has been reduced to petty theft. Or rubbish removal.
