I, Cosh

I thought the seller could suppress the location info if they wanted?

Anyway, that's not what I see:http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/7479/bottlerw7.jpg">

Yeah, mine looks the same as Cosh's.

***I thought the seller could suppress the location info if they wanted? ***

That wouldn't make any sense and may be illegal.

I, Cosh

It would make sense if you didn't want people to know where you live. What would be illegal about it?

Peter have you upgraded to some crazy new version of eBay by accident?!
Theres a button on your screen shot that says Return to previous version of item page. have you tried pressing it to see what happens?

Wils

I think it might be Mac/PC thang. At home (on the PC), Ebay looks like Cosh's, but at work (on a Mac) it looks like Peter's screenshot.

Well you'd need to know if it was coming from a certain country/province etc. so you'd be aware of any customs obstacles or if it was a dodgy place to be buying from. People also like to know where they can return the item if need be beforehand. It's not exactly telling people the very street you live on is it?

No, I'm on a Mac and mine looks like Cosh's and yours on ebay.co.uk.

"Theres a button on your screen shot that says Return to previous version of item page. have you tried pressing it to see what happens?"

That was one of those wierd instances where i misread that bit as "previous item page " and just ignored it after that.Anyway it worked.

I know about these things as i collect them and dug them up on tips. These are very rare indeed but the winning bid is unprecedented as far as i know.

 No credit crunch here.

Just dont drop it or insure it for 8,000.

I sold my first item ever on Ebay recently.

No problems as it sold to someone i know .

Apparently sellers cant leave negative feedback anymore to make Ebay fairer !

That doesnt make any sense at all to me.

Does anyone understand this and what the point of it is ?

 Thanks.

"Say farewell to retaliatory feedback

eBay has changed its feedback system to ensure that buyers like you, can leave honest feedback without the seller trying to even the score by posting neutral or negative feedback back. If you were unhappy with the service levels of things like postal charges, or the speed of delivery then let the seller and other buyers know."

It seems to make more sense now.

Buddy

That hoverboard is clearly not the one used in the film.

The board in the stills from the film has (slightly) different detailing than the one in the other images.

If this is being sold as a 'screen used prop' I suspect it's a con.
