...and if you have as much difficulty removing the lipstick from your face like I did then you'll end up looking a tit when you have to go into Tesco Express to buy things.

Just like to thank everyone I met at Bristol yesterday for making me feel so welcome. It was my first Comicon and I had a great time. Unfortunately i had to come back this morning to do some work, real bummer!

Big thanks to: Usher for being my evening chaperone and introducing me to lots of peeps, Mary, Oliver, Noisybast and his mate and girlfriend who I can't rem. names of due to too much alcohol, Wod, Bou and Rac for allowing me to eat my Panini at the FQ stand, PVS and crew (sorry guys name thing again) for letting me tag along for a pizza - bloody good it was too, Wake for the posters. Mike Molcher for being the beer bitch at the bar. Oh, yeah and Dom Reardon for introducing me to the real Soloman Ravne - see pics below, Simon Bisley for buying me a drink because he thought I looked a right tit with lipstick on my face, which leads me to the final thank you to Boo Cook's girlfriend Lisa(?) for the pink face this morning, pink jeans, pink arms and the wavy pink tatoo I cannot seem to remove from my arm!

Apologies to Mr Timson for staring him out as he walked back to the hotel around 12.30 on sat (yes that was me in the black animal T-shirt looking at you thinking is that JEB, nah looks nothing like him and then realising when I got back to the event it was you... sorry mate :-( )

Final big-up to the Rebellion massive for putting up with my inane drunked rabblings at 3.00am this morning...

enjoy the pics.

I had an excellent weekend, and it was great pleasure to meet you, Larf. Did I manage to get round to everything I meant to, including sketches, panels, meeting the creators and buying trade paperbacks of things I missed first time around? No, I didn't. But it was great catching up with the small press and meeting everyone I've not seen since the Bristol Expo last year.
STRIKE !!!

Keef Monkey

I've never been to a con, is it cheaper buying graphic novels and things at cons than in the high street?

ahh the lovely Lucy whose birthday it was on the Saturday. For her birthday she got many artists to draw a pic on her and I left a birthday message on her neck.
the face on her left arm is by Jock Mike Molcher did a very nice huge crocodile with a chainsaw on her right arm, Greg Staploes, Bryan Talbot, PJ, Dom, Boo, Andy Diggle, Dean Ormston, Glen Fabry and many others didthere sketches as well.
As you can see from the photo the worst part of it all for her was when Mr Molcher was super glued to her ear.

"yes that was me in the black animal T-shirt looking at you thinking is that JEB"

Ha!  I was thinking what the fuck's HE looking at?!?

You're taller than I thought you'd be.
Pffft...

Funny, you're shorter than I thought you'd be!!

Good weekend (well - Saturday and Sat night for me).  FutureQuake, MangaQuake, Something Wicked, Dogsbreath all sold well...which was nice.  Didn't get the Eagle award, but never mind...

Fatigue killed me before I could get proper smashed on Saturday night, just as well as today was a busy one.

Good to meet up with a few faces and thanks to everyone who visited the FQP stand.

"Funny, you're shorter than I thought you'd be!! "

I have heels in my shoes like the suspension on a Citroen.

Still at frigging work, hangover caught up with me about 4.00pm and I'm waiting for a signoff from the client else we'll miss our print slot - life is so... shit.
