Hmm I was toying with changing my name to Cunning Stunt... :-)

btw: do the new rules affect previous threads prior to the date created? If so there's an awful lot of editing to do, and what happens if someone re-invigorates an old thread that has lots of abusive language in it etc.

Finally are these rules in response to that picture of the Kingsley brothers and the obvious innuendoesque responses that came from  posting it on the board - so in turn is it a kick in the teeth to the boarders for dissing them?

I'm not going to be editing old messages and this code of conduct isn't due to the Kingsley thread. I'm working on some revisions of the code of conduct and may be adding a '15 certificate' to the board so that we can keep vulgar (but not abusive) language.

In general the point of the code of conduct is not to change the personality of this message board, but just to give it some boundaries. If there is anything in the code of conduct which contradicts generally accepted practice on this site, then it is probably the code not the practice that needs to change. However, please wait until the next version of the code has been uploaded before telling me what you don't like about it.
