Never really got into the original books, though they were enjoyable enough at the time.

I thought Harry Enfield puts more effort in than the story does.

I think Douglas Adams had used his one good idea up with the first Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy Radio series.

Just listning to it now. I think it's as good an attempt to adapt a rubbish story as possible really.
