That Endless Ocean game looks great... It's now on the christmas list for the boy.

Any other non violent games (he's got behavoural problems, don't want him copying any more than he needs to) to be recommended?

For sure - coming up you've got Super Mario Galaxy, then Mercury Meltdown Revolution is another budget title, and if you go into the back catalogue there's WarioWare, Mario Party, Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers, Zack & Wiki (after Xmas), Mario Olympics, Eledees, Dewy's Adventure, Monkey Ball etc..

(Avoid Guitar Hero 3 for now though as apparently there's a bug which sees the sound come out in mere mono).

ohh spewing on the Guitar Heroes 3 bug that was gonna be on me Wii(increase the game  numbers you know).  Will actually be online at home in the next month so will add then.
Anyone pplaying Metroid Prime 3 yet?

I've had a Wii since release and it's totally aces high.
But would anyone care to tell me in really simple pleb terms how to get online, as I'm a complete technophobe and I fancy giving the virtual console a spin.

Just got MArio Kart today. Intend playing it tonite.

You pretty much just need to connect it to your router if you have one.  Or I think you can get a dongle for the USB to which it will connect wirelessly.

I've downloaded a few of the games from the VC and have been impressed with them all.

Super Paper Mario is the game that I'm playing with mini-WoD at the minute, and it is really good.  Not had chance to play Kart yet and probably wont until Wednesday.
