Saw a movie when I was a kid and the atmosphere really stuck with me but I could never remember anything about it apart from a vague notion of an old man with a metal plate in his head, a deserty landscape and some sort of brain-eating flying things. Got a delivery of this at work and one look at the over brought it flooding back. Anyone else seen this? Is it worth buying and watching again or is it just unfounded nostalgia?

I saw it on the beeb one Saturday when young, it was dubbed -by the BBC- with Englsh voices and had different music. Saw it again a few years ago and it seems age hasn't been kind to it as it didn't hold my interest and was quite dull with all the good ideas coming at the end, stuff about the Time Masters etc., which was kind of crying out for a continuing story.
