I dunno, but I think that 'flashbackforward' is a magnificent new word, and we should all attempt to use it at least once today in conversation.

I liked the end of Terminator 3. The war had to happen eventually or John Connor would never have been born, cos the time machine would never have been built, so Reese would never have been sent back in time to protect Sarah because there were

my brain hurts now.

Krom i suppose you could look at it as the future events are the now and the meat of the films are the flashbacks. Otherwise your head may explode.

The genius that brought you Charlies frickin' Angels.

That is a well paced movie as cut and paste films go.

And directing three junkys is a great step toward working with computerised puppetry.

Can't see much of a plot coming through this by the sounds of it, now. I hope he doesn't use the same writer. Nor ignore the next one in preference to finding the perfect and long lost action shot.

When will these directors learn that in a well written story, your perfect action shot comes naturally.
Alright an action sequence maybe. But when every motivation is tooled up to  the bit where everyones tooled up, a story cannot breathe.
Its like dumping too much salt in before you've created the sauce.
Either it has to have much more volume, or you get all the taste drowned out of the thing. You can add but you can't take way in these situations.

But why a trilogy, ferfuxakes?  Couldn't we just have one good film about the resistance, and then see where we go?  I enjoyed the plot of T3 far more than I enjoyed the actual movie, maddening paradoxes aside.  The end was by far the best bit, that and the deleted Arnie scenes on the DVD.  Yerwoman Lokken's butt and Clare Danes' face can only hold the eye so long.
