Long title, hard to drop into casual conversation. A damn good film though. Beautifully shot, great soundtrack and brilliantly acted. Pitt walks a fine line between charming and dangerously unhinged, and Affleck is like a creepy Old West version of a celebrity stalker. Also, Sam Rockwell deserves a nod, as always.
You're at the precipice Tony, of an enormous crossroads.

Will head along this week but sad to see it's another 160 minute bum number. Think I'll just ask for 'Jessie James' at the box office and hope they don't say 'What's that again?'.

Agree with you on on Sam Rockwell, he was the best thing in 'The Green Mile', apart from that dude's head going on fire of course. 7th best thing in 'Charlie's Angels' too!

Want to see this for Casey Affleck. He was suprisingly great in Gone Baby Gone.

Or, another abbreviation I heard elsewhere was "The Ass of JJ". But I reckon if you ask for that at the box office you won't get far.

Unless JJ the cinema slag's working that night.
Nobody warned me I would be so awesome.

Went to day and just asked for 'Jesse James' and was understood.

Did enjoy it but it was far too long - at least an hour of fat begging to be trimmed.

Liked the general atmosphere of it and for once the narration was unobtrusive. 50 year old Pitt didn't convince as 34 year old James but Affleck was great as Ford with his empty eyes and total lack of empathy.

Affleck and Damon, born to play soulless automaton killers.  But which States will they become Governors of?

Tordelback I think I love you.

I claim Affleck for the medium-sized-impoverished state of New Mexico. His angry small man syndrome will compliment our state to a T.
