It looks like the full horror of Edinbra is to be unleashed on the world....

Shame Barker only seems to be prehipherally involved, films of his stuff tend to be better if he's more closely linked to them.
(Unlike Stephen King, Maximum Overdrive anyone?)

Yeah, has it not been yonks since he directed something? Lord Of Illusions was great I thought but he seems to have moved away from that since then. Book Of Blood was a great story, god knows how they'll flesh it out into a movie though, should be interesting.

I never thought of Hellraiser as a British film though. Set in America, American actors... (appart from Pinhead obviously.) Obviously must have been a lot more British behind-the-scenes stuff than I thought.

I look forward to a new horror series actually set in Britain though. I'll look forward to that.

Richmond Clements

Well, it is never made clear explicitly in the movie if it's set in America or not- and it all certainly looks and feels like Engerland to me.
Hellraiser 2 though I'll grant you, makes it clear that it's the states with the American coppers in it.

The original was set in Britain, most of the actors are british and the ones with american accents were dubbed that way afterwards to please american audiences. Always thought the leap to America in the 2nd movie was a bit unnecessary. Not sure, but if I remember right the original book was set in Britain too.
