I'd like to see Daniel Craig be the new Dr Who.  It might happen.

I like the thought of a Davros return.

Peace is a lie, there's only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

I dunno....Russell T Davies said 'we aim to bring old characters back every series' like, daleks, cybermen, the master and (this series) Sonatarans. I just wish they could come up with a series climax that involved an entirely NEW thing...I dunno...is that too inventive for him - no just follow the formula, after all - it's bloody successful now, you don't want to be in danger of surprising any viewers and therefore losing them.

rant over - I can't remember what my original point was. Sod the lot of them!

How is it that eons of Dr can get by with out kissing a single assistant, even Jamie, and now every assist has to be snogged? In the words of Sir Terry 'Is it me?'

You fools, it must be Shane Richie or the ratings will tank.
He's only trying to be what following how his dreams make you wanna be, man!

If you're going to have Pertwee take the lead in a telly fantasy then surely - in the name of sanity - it should be a telly version of Hellblazer. I speak with a mouth full of right.

But he's the "lonely god" - surely a few snogs isn't too much to ask?

Frankly, he should have been cast in the movie, but there you go.

I agree totally but I think I'd rather a telly series than a movie. Just seems right.

Was he ever referred as that in the older shows? (I haven't watched many.) Or is it more new Who Hero worship?

That's one think I really dislike about new Who. He was always a highly intelligent man (if slighlty bumbling, which was part of the  charm) and slightly alien but not the entity he is depicted as in new Who. Not that I remember in my small experience of the past shows though.

Overall I like new Who though. I find it a bit overrated, but good telly just the same.
