You saw sombody famous, somebody you knew, and just anybody being abducted the way Brad Pitt in this staged abduction has just been.

It did look like abunch of his mates calling out to him from the black fan in the beginning. ( Whci it was behind the scenes.)

It did also look like nobody actualley reacted until he was gone.

One of bystanders did look like they were helping and then when the van was gone. He got on his mobile to the authorities to say Brad Pitt was in Line and then kidnapped, I r'm really not kidding'

If it was me, most admitted ly I would ract slowely also. I guess, not knowing what is actualley happening exactly. Like they could be his mates, though the scuffling would then lead me to think otherwise.

Also, I would be thinking' Is that really Brad Pitt' and I would be stuck on that for next few seconds, whole I am deciding wehter to risk my own neck or coming to the conclusion that he's just messing about with some mates of his.

It's human nature to think 'Is this really happening?' before acting.

I've seen a woman being stabbed repeatedly on the other side of the road to me, and a woman attacked quite violently by a homeless guy only feet away - and both times, like an idiot, I just sort of gawped, wondering if it was real, then started looking about to see what other people were doing before I decided how to act.

I used to hope I'd be a hero in such situations, but obviously not.

Anyway in my experince being cohreant enough to react or even notice might be hard for myself. Those days when I use to go out to a night club.  I might be full of grog by the time I'm lining up at cab rank and without any sercuity, poice, fireman, Emergency, SAS training of my own I would not be of sound mind to
discern between the fooling around that young rich men/woman might be doing at that time of night and what might be a real abduction.

The other day I saw a woman lying on the pavement, obviously the victim of a hit-and-run accident. I stood and watched for ten whole minutes, and not one - NOT ONE - person went to her aid. I went on my way, disgusted at the apathy of my fellow passers-by. Is this what society has come to?
