Okay, so leaving aside the re-united father and son sctick, this is pretty damn impressive.

Anyone have any others?

Seen that one before.  I'd prefer it if they didn't keep cutting to Ozzy and the Hoff- just so I could be sure I wasn't being duped.  Well, obviously I'm being duped- but you know what I mean...
Pffft...

Portal: I reckon it wouldn't be too difficult to use CGI to map the image onto the photograph when it's held up on the beach, you would just need to take a 'scan' of it when he holds it up to the camera on stage. Once the CGI plotting has been done the rest would be easy and you could use a different photo every night, just like motion capture really. The same goes for the letters on the arm. The long lost son is all baloney of course, though they could easily film several versions so it seemed different each night. You have to ask why would the performer not just come out and say the initials etc, then you see the restrictions of the trick. It's a lot better than the Statue Of Liberty vanish, which looks like you could get the same results just switching the lights off.

Cut-up man:
The cut-up man is of the side-show community, just a 'human torso' and at the end he sits on top of the person performing the legs (who's torso was hidden in the trolley). Makes for a fantastic trick though.

The Copperfield one is well done but I think it's clear that Hawaii is just a set with a projected ocean and forced perspectives.Once you've done the standard disappearing from a box trick you can fanny about on the set all you like before 'teleporting' back.

Saw that one of the helpers has a Celtic shirt on - the portal will be down the Barras by Saturday!

I was at my office Christmas party recently (just before Christmas in fact) and they had hired a magician to go table to table and do magic tricks. It was mostly card tricks and the like, but it was cool to see them being done up close, like two feet away, instead of up on stage. And the guy was quite good, better than the average party magician I've seen.

At my mum's working man's club they once had a guy do some impressive levitation, and although I didn't see it my self, people were talking about it for ages afterwards.
