Any of the board singletons tried this? I went last night and was pleasantly surprised.
 It was a really good laugh and there was a good selection of girls. Everyone was really friendly and I've got a couple of dates lined up already!

The lack of feedback would worry me - I'd have to hunt them down and see what they disliked about me! I had a friend who did this and ticked all 20 girls as matches so he could see how many picked him. He got three - devastated!

My tally so far is 2 romance matches and 10 friend matches. There are still 3 who are yet to fill in the results.

The two biggest fears that have kept me from trying this -

Either
a)The only people who turn up are sad, lonely blokes like me.
or
b)Not a single girl would tick me as a match and I'd leave even less self-confident than when I went in.

Those are 2 of the fears that would stop me doing it too.

But the one thing about the woman that said "she liked it up the bum and she was good at blowjobs" is that that's only useful to know if she's actually serious and not just having a laugh ;)

I think that is the biggest problem with speed dating. So many of the people going to it, especially women are going more for a laugh than anything else. I've known women who have gone to see what sad men are around. And some of these are married women which is really no good if you are a single man who really wants to find himself a nice woman.
