A Dan Dare question

OK, this question sprung to mind when I found the firefly ref on the thought control gaming thread. The Eagle story "Return of the Mekon" started a series of stories that (according to one web site) finishes with "the Battle for Earth" all written by Pat Mills and occasionally John Wranger and drawn and painted by the Mighty Ian Kennedy. What I want to know is: will these ever be collected? And if not, why?

It deserves to be collected but there'd be a problem with the centre spreads.

really old joke my grandad shared ...
dan dare is captured by the mekon and is facing death by death ray.
"you cant kill me!" he protests "im dan dare.pilot of the future,im known the world over there'll be outrage if you kill me!!"

mekon ponders and says"ok.if we go to earth and the first person we meet recognises you ,you may go free."

so,off they trot to earth and land in the congo basin.
"oh crap "thinks dare "any where but here,i am soo screwed"
they walk to he first mud hut they come to and knock on the bannana leaf and this huge native comes out.."HELLO DARE!!" he says!
