 I n a word yes as a tecnicality but i often found them in overgrown abandoned allotments or along footpaths at the backs of houses stuck in hedges so i always thought of it as salvaging.

 its not like anyone missed them.

 I found an old bike dumped in the woods which i think was some sort of Moped but it had no engine and no brakes whatsoever.

 There was a road that a friend lived in that was very steep and then it would flatten out at the end and then go upwards again.


 What i used to do was take the bike up to the top of the hill and then ride down it on the bike that had no brakes.Its hard to believe i did this even though there was hardly any traffic as if there was a collision with a car that would have been it.
