Grauniad bemoans lack of good prog films

Title says it all, really - there's a blog on the Guardian with some chap wondering why nobody's bothered to make anything good on the screen with the prog.

I'd not heard anything about a Button Man film before now though, I'm sure...

Whatever happened to 2000 AD Films plc - a company tasked with exploiting Tooth's filmic potential? Did anyone on here buy shares, or didn't it even get that far?

There have been one or two good coversions from paper to screen, there are one or two I'd like to see, but on the whole, I like my comics in paper form, and don't really have the desire to see everything I read turned into a movie.

Wasn't it the Kurt Russell film 'Soldier' thats supposed to be a bit like Rogue Trooper?

Soldiers a great little movie.
Kurt's superb in it- and yeah, I can see the Rogue type elements in it.
