Okay I know some of you lot out there are as bad as me for collecting, so having found this I thought you had better know!
Prog 1589 comes in two covers, the first is the Defoe one which is advertised, but the second is the issue given away free with SFX no171 and with that you have to buy it from ASDA or you won't get it. This one has the X-ray Dredd head with the microchip tooth as the cover.

And they have different packaging to the ones given away by the Meg and some of the cards have NEW artwork also.

I just went to Asda but there was no free 2000AD advertised for SFX 171 (the X-Files cover?) - is it only at the check out that you find out about it?

It is enclosed in a plastic wrap with the mag itself.
As for a pic, I shall try and put one up tomorrow with it next to the regular issue.
