How large should icons/avatars be?

Users of the old board were limited to having 32x32 pixel avatars. At the moment, I've kept this restriction in place on the new forum, though I am allowing mini-banners of up to 128 pixels wide so long as they are still 32 pixels tall. The reason for this is so that short posts do not take up more vertical space than necessary. Please vote on this poll to let me know what you think I should do. The reason I'm offering 90x90 and 100x100 instead of 96x96 pixels is because 90x90 is the size of the mini-pics that appeared on the old droid/thrill profile pages and 100x100 is a common choice on other boards.

After careful consideration and after being somewhat horrified by the idea of rectangular Icons i chose to vote for 64 x 64 and then i noticed 64 x 64 has got the highest No of votes so far which just goes to show that great minds do think alike.

64x64 is the best, what we have now is too small for the new format.

64x64 pixels it is, and I've enabled avatar uploading.

I'll upload a gallery of suitable 2000AD avatars (created by resizing the old 90x90 pics from the thrill zone) as soon as possible.

Through the user control panel- profile- edit avatar. Just upload a pic from your comp or web address.
