I found the visor annoying, and the hub section redundant and annoying.

In my opinion, with the current generation of consoles there are two schools of FPS: COD4 and Halo 3: in one, you must seek cover and play it smart or you will die, while in the other you run in like a motherfucker, shoot everything and at some point the game ends with you standing on top of a big pile of genocided corpses.
I love both, but I'm not crazy with the hybrid, as ODST feels like it wants to be Killzone 2 more than anything.
