Is there a time limit on posting a reply. Logged on to post review of prog 2009, wrote it out, went to submit it and it asked me to log in again and when I did my review which I had just lovingly crafted was gone. Seriously pissed off.

I've calmed down a bit now and solved the problem by writing the whole post again but saving every few lines to draft. I guess thats the way to go in future. Almost had a full on sense of humour failure though. Harrumph.

I had that problem when I write up a large post. I get logged out and lose the whole thing. It's pretty depressing when it happens I and often I don't bother writing it up again. Unless, I deem it really important.

Since those times, When I rememeber to. I COPY ( Right Click On The Screen.) my posts as I'm writing them. I don't normally do this until after first three lengthy paragraphs. Sometimes, I PASTE what I copied so far on to WINDOWS WORDPAD and save it under the topic name.

I have a folder filled with these  half to three quarter of the way written documents.

Very rarely have I ever started replying to post and tarting a new thread just using WORDPAD. I'm can't really be that bothered unless I really need to get my message acrooss and don't want to lose whatr I 'm wrting.

The SAVE function, down below. I have only ever used twice and at both times didn't knwo where my post was saved.

Thats it really.

I now know they're all under the USER CONTROL PANEL link then MANAGE DRAFTS, but it's a confusing faff to get back to them for posting - what does "load draft" (as opposed to view/edit) mean? Or "reset" for that matter?

Type out long message in Word pad, copy, paste.

Job's a good 'un :)

I've never really felt the need - I think the site's only ever logged me out once, usually posts work just fine!
