Please vote on the maximum image width rule

Should the maximum image width per post be changed?

No, keep it at 700 pixels.

Yes, increase it to 775 pixels.

In order to stop the posting of large images on the message board which would require a horizontal scroll bar at resolutions of 1024x768, I imposed a maximum image width of 700 pixels. I know it isn't to everyone's taste, so please vote on this thread to let me know your views.

No worries. The setting is easy to change. I had my reasons to set it to 700 pixels, but if the annoyance of being unable to post large images is greater than the annoyance of people posting images that don't fit on the screen, then I'm happy to change the setting accordingly.

700 is generous and should be plenty for forum purposes. It keeps those file sizes down too!

Agreed.  Anything larger than 700 should be linked to. Big srcolly images in my forums drive me crazy.
