Has the doohickey been turned off which notifies you when you click "submit" that, while you were typing your message, someone else posted one? I can't be certain but in the last day or two it seems like it's not working, and it's useful to have.

And me this morning.  I call it the 'ah bollocks' function.

It works for me. I don't even read it and anyone who does is a pussy.

Yeah, it's hard to tell. Just once or twice yesterday I took a long time typing a message, posted it and there was one there that I didn't think was there when I started. I also noticed someone else adding something to the end of their message, along the lines of "*edit* I'm changing this because someone else typed the same thing" so I thought other people may have noticed it too.

But maybe I'm over analysing.....

And, appropriately enough, as I was submitting my last message, I was notified about Godpleton's new message, so I guess that answers my question.

I think that's still working for me, but The "View active topics" link hasn't come back yet.

I think that might have just been me not paying attention to what was on the screen and clicking the "Submit" button again 'cos I thought it hadn't worked the first time.

Ah I see. Well I guess that's the end o' that chapter.
