F*** the world, I think.

I never stopped having acne thanks to a hormone imbalance. I am 39.

Peace is a lie, there's only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

I just did something that I thought VOWED id never do...........................

I joined Twitter....

Bloody hell my life is so empty.......... somebody just kill me now.....
You ever notice that everyone who believes in creationism looks really unevolved? Eyes real close together, big furry hands and feet. "I believe God created me in one day." Yeah, looks like he rushed it.

...turned down paying colouring work...

It's just not enough and I've got SO MUCH ELSE to do. I very much need guidance in this area because I want to fit everything in but I work full time :( It's so painful having to turn someone away -

I had a similar situation recently and someone on this very forum advised me that you will be seen as reliable and trustworthy if you turn down work you can't handle rather than attempt it and fail, letting the commissioner down. The disappointment that you can't do something you want to do, however, is annoying.

Re adult acne. Heartsease might be worth a go. I've known people who it's worked well for.

Thanks very much for the recommendation. Unless it gets rid of polycystic ovary syndrome it is unlikely to work for me but you never know...

Emperor

Life spugs because my auntie was taken into hospital because of problems with her bowels and they've found a tumour that is obstructing her colon.  If she doesn't have it removed they say she'll never leave hospital but the operation has dangers too. My Dad and her two sons are sorting it all out (my uncle is involved but has the early stages of Alzheimers so...), but as her sons don't drive and the hospital is not easy to get to on public transport from here, so I'm on the list for helping ferry them to the hospital. So still early days but whatever happens it sounds like it'll be a bit unpleasant for the time being. :(

Also a crazy* American relative is in town and wants to see me, I am currently only leaving the house in disguise.

* Literally **

** Although I'm not one to talk, the first time she met me she thought I was in a fight outside a pub, kicking someone's head in who'd fallen to the ground. The actual explanation was not much better: A friend had decided to play a new game "Get the Emperor Off his Feet" and had failed (despite attacking me with a giant traffic cone, I still get pains in my shoulder from where he winged me with it), so I was walking down the road with him holding onto my ankle, being dragged behind me.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Hope things don't get you down Emperor.
He's only trying to be what following how his dreams make you wanna be, man!

Just trying to avoid saying "pain the arse" in context is keeping my mind busy. Only one has sneaked through so far but it is early days...

Yeesh, hope that all gets taken care of. As for that crazy American relative, what is her royal station?

Just found out my friend and his wife had a baby last Wednesday, but it died on Friday. I almost sent a jokey text a couple of days ago asking whether she'd spawned yet - so glad I didn't.

Nothing to say. All I can do is close my eyes and feel that.

That's incredibly sad. DDD, I don't know your friend, but please let her know my thoughts are with her.

I only met his wife very briefly once, and I haven't known him long - He's a barman at my local and  we bonded over a mutual love of Marvel comics and SF films. He's come round to my house twice to fix PC problems, sometimes taking hours, for no reward, and when I was experiencing a drought he introduced me to his weed dealer. Top bloke, I can't imagine what he's going through.
