So anyway, you filth fanciers.

It was a while ago now (and no longer the case) but when did WHSmith place 2000 AD on or near the top shelf? Late '80s/early '90s? And whilst we're at it, when did 2000 AD start being referred to as 'The Tooth'?

And for those that only came for the pretext of porn:

Ooh, dare I click?

Top left- is that Liz Hurley in a blonde wig?
Pffft...

Matt Timson

I say blonde wig- but it could just as easily be a yellow towel, I suppose.

As I recall it was a pretty blatant swipe of a photograph of Liz Hurley in her pants from an FHM (or some such) photoshot. I mean really I think he just painted over the top and wrote Anderson on her thigh or something!

It was actually from the first issue of Laoded magazine-not that I read that sort of thing of course. Look, I only bought it because it had a Gary Oldman interview in it.

Its funny looking back at that whole time when Loaded and FHM came out. All of a sudden it felt like you'd get too see just about any minor celebrity you fancied in her pants if you just waited a month or two. I know the candle has been passed to Nuts and whatever now but I don't think they have quite the ability to get TV presenters and pop stars in them as those early lad mags?
