Help me remember a song...

I have almost no information, here are the clues that my brain has spewed up:

In my head the song is linked to Wichita Linesman -(it may have nothing to do with it, and may be a red herring...)

Its about a bridge and a body a thrown off bridge (a body being disposed of, maybe?)

I can't remember the tune or the name or the singer, so, therefore, spotify is useless to me...

Smothers Brothers version lends the song a vaguely Lovecraftian feel!  Like Wichita Linesman, its one of those handful of songs that are stone cold genius, yet are in too scarey a catalogue for me to dabble in ... says the man who has bought the boxset rerelease of the first 3 Bee Gees albums!
