Hey Uncle, you can reupload it through your profile. Give us a shout if you can't see how to do it.

QuoteI'm tipping 20% of the bill this time.

Sweet! 20%! Of Nothing....is....ah....

Put a new one up, cheers.

Yeah it's a kinda Safari/Mobile Vs Firefox issue which I've got on the list to look at  :-\

Good to see the old new theme back(!) Thanks for that :-)

If it's of interest, in Firefox 3.5.1 on PC I have to maximise my browser to 1680x1050 just to see the tops of the character's heads in the Kev Walker pic at the bottom of the screen. No biggie though...

Cheers,

M@

hang on - I'm just seeing pale blue posts on a white background, no pics anywhere on the screen besides avatars - am I missing something? I'm on Firefox 3.0.11 on a PC.

Bouwel

I'm on Firefox 3.0.11

Firefox 3.5.1 is out now DDD, best to update to it as my tame I.T. friend says the older Firefox's have some sort of vulnerability. He didn't specify what that was, but I'm sure it's not to Kryptonite!

Done!

can you ask your friend whether this vulnerability has anything to do with the Master Password? I've been growing increasingly paranoid over the last week or two - I'm used to having to re-enter my password as I'm a kak-handed git, but lately no matter how careful I've been, I have always had to enter the password exactly twice. As this system remembers my passwords for just about everything else I do, it's been worrying me a bit.

And I have now found the pics in question, but only by altering my resolution to crazy proportions, so I'll leave it as it is - quite like the minimalism actually!

Dandontdare

I think I'm going to find the "total time logged in" figure rather depressing! I'm already up to 1 day 3hours and 47 minutes! I KNOW I'm frittering my life away thankyouverymuch, I don't need a reminder constantly staring me in the face!

Are you getting the old theme? I'm still on the new blue and white one (and yea, I upgraded to Firefox 3.5.1).

By "old theme" I mean I now have the light blue and black theme which we had for a while before the interim black/red one. Presumably we all have?

Steel Rabbit

Oh, I thought you meant the one with the 2000AD characters at the bottom.

mine looks like this:

I can only see the artwork at the bottom if I adjust my screen resloution to the max, but this throws everything else out of whack so I'll just do without.

That is the one I mean. Only, like dandontdare below, in FF you can only see the characters when the screen is maxed.

(Which is where I came in).

M@

Steel Rabbit

Oh... Then in that case I don't see it.

Kerrin

I think it's a question of screen size. On the screen I'm using now which is quite large and squarish I can see the artwork. On my 13"macbook, no. Both running Firefox.

Why cant i cut and past and insert quotes from someone elses post into mine ?

Every time i do this i end up with their entire post instead of just the particular sentence that i want and that i just highlighted in blue and its infuriating. Its not like i dont know how to cut and paste as i have done it a thousand times at least if not more.

Everyone else seems top have no problem but as usual i do and i dont know why.

I drag my cursor over their text so it highlights the particular quote i want in blue and then click on 'insert quote' and Bingo !! there goes their entire post into my 'post reply' box without fail every time.

GGGrrrrr.....

If anyone else can help with this it would be appreciated.

The method you're using doesn't work on these forums. I think everyone else is just inserting the quote they're after (the whole post) and then deleting the portion of the quote they have no need for.

We don't have any plans to add the select-and-quote feature as it's technically still possible to achieve the same goal with a tiny bit more effort.

I can only see the tip of a helmet when my Firefox is full screen, so I don't think its just you guys. I'm running 3.5.1 with AdBlock but disabling adBlock has no effect.

Maybe I can get w3bz on it if we've got time and we can reproduce it at work. It could be we haven't noticed it in testing because we're both running 1600 height screens, but here at home I've only got 1280h, pushing most of the image off the bottom.
