Is there any difference in the 2 books or difference enough to only buy the one?
loveforstitch - Does he fall in love? I like a little romance in all my movies.

Rekaert - Yes, he demonstrates it with bullets, punches and sentencing.

He's Mega City 1's own Don Juan.

The first book contains all (or near as dammit) the Future Shocks and Time Twisters penned by Alan Moore during his time at 2000ad. The second is a sort of "Best Of" compilation of all the other writers, including Grant Morrison, Neil Gaiman, Pete Milligan, etc.
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

I consider both books to be part of a set that are further complemented by the "Storming Heaven" graphic novel.

Quite right.

Another Future Shock collection at some point might be nice perhaps including some Tales from Beyond Science (don't mock me, I really liked some of them, genuinely surprising they were) or even Vector 13 and other one offs.
