Oh you'd be surprised how often it crops up.

I, Cosh

Ordinarily I'd be snapping this up at the first opportunity, but I'm now contemplating waiting until the Necropolis and Dead Man volumes come out then consuming the whole lot in an orgiastic Christmas Thrill-Frenzy.

Regarding these Mick Austin porn-themed covers, do you suppose either of these were inspired by his choice of one-handed literature?

We never really die.

I, Cosh

We never really die.

Grant Goggans

It's actually kind of a shame that this expose appeared in a lad's mag, and not at Lying in the Gutters, where more people could enjoy it.

I've always had a chuckle about that Purity Brown cover.  Okay, so David Roach was drawing her in 20th-century clothes in that story, apart from the dead-ostrich dress, but that was taking things a little far...!

Arrived this morning (yay!). It seems that a printing error may have caused the delay with this book - the back has a £13.99 price covered over with a barcode sticker with the real price (£18.99).

#20
I skimmed it in Waterstones today while moths fluttered away from my wallet Beano-style (damn you Luke-with-bionic-hand-wires-showing, damn you to hell!) and can confirm that (a). it's a thing of rare beauty - the art shines out of the pages!; (b). It brings us rrrright up to Tale of the Dead Man, finshing with Letter to Judge Dredd (and thus we should have had The Dead Man itself to accompany our read) (c).  Dead Juve's Curve is a perfect archival-quality reproduction of the original (i.e. the pages are still out of order).

COMMANDO FORCES

I was tempted in Waterstones today but decided the net is the place to get it from, Amazon or Play.com, whoever is cheaper!

QuoteAmazon or Play.com, whoever is cheaper!

The Book Depository are selling it for around £12 inc postage.

COMMANDO FORCES

Cheers for that radiator ;)

COMMANDO FORCES

When I was checking who to order with I found I had already ordered the book with Amazon so that's that then. I must order these bloody things so far in advance that I never know what I've bought until a package arrives!
Saying that I will have a look at this Book Depository that you speak of radiator next time.
Now I just hope the bloody thing comes this morning, as I'm at a childrens party this afternoon and I can read it there while all Hell is unleashed by the little buggers.

Colin Zeal

For anyone still to get this, Forbidden Planet in London were selling it for £4 off when I was in there last Friday.
