The teacher volunteers the lead singer for Class President against the Jock. He takes it seriously but secretly fancies a girl in his class. He loses the 'Political Race' but he and his band (including the schools marching band) end up playing their instruments in the schools playing field. The Jocks attack them to drive them away.

Somebody with more money than sense once gave me an impulse purchase copy of Nada Surf's album 'Let Go' which they paid £11.99 for in 2003, when it was pretty new, after seeing them live. It was a bit shit and I've no idea why they thought I would like it. I was quite ungrateful but pretended to be happy about it anyway. It doesn't have 'Popular' on it.
